Maintenance Guide & Artist Guarantee 

The purpose of this maintenance and artist guarantee is:  

1. To form the basis of your advice, which we can pass on, as your advice, to prospective buyers on the suitability and expected longevity of your artwork for the location a buyer may have in mind who is considering purchasing your artwork;

1. To provide prospective buyers with the number of years you guarantee your sculpture will be in good conditions if installed in the location advised; 

1. To provide general guidance to buyer on how to maintain your artwork in good condition if installed in the location advised by the buyer. 

We inform our buyers that it may not be possible for an artist to guarantee the long-term durability of their work however we have an obligation to ensure that the buyer is in the best possible position to understand the physical nature of your sculpture and to appreciate the limitations that come with a sculpture. We are, for this reason, only able to offer your sculpture for sale if it is accompanied by a Maintenance Guide and Artist Guarantee.  

Your Maintenance Guide and Artist Guarantee will be passed on to the buyer with the sale of your sculpture, including the contact details you have provided. This means that you agree to the buyer contacting you directly in the future to request further advice, including requests for repairs or alterations. 

Please note that the buyer will be relying on your representation in this form when deciding to buy your sculpture, so please ensure you are as accurate as possible.
